A very Rare and seldom seen Ancient Chinese bronze Sword.This item which dates from circa 400-200 BC is of good solid construction with a wide thrusting blade .The grip is ribbed with a disc type pommel .The blade still retains a good cutting edge and the whole item is free from damage and repair. A large central raised rib runs down the centre of the blade which gives it much strength.This item has a good dark green /and couperite coloured patina to the bronze. A wonderful item which comes highly recommended .Size 56.0 CM in length

Ancient Chinese Large Temple/Shrine Figure Ref: 1-SN5701

A very rare and seldom offered Ancient Chinese Large Temple / Shrine figure. This item which dates to the 7th - 9th Century AD shows the figure of a female attendant, nursing mother with a baby to her breast. She is shown in a kneeling position with a flowing dress flared out around her. The head to this figure would have originally been of the socketed type however it has now been fixed into position possibly at the turn of the last century. Some minor good quality restoration is present to the back of the flared edge of dress. Apart from this, some small old edge damage is present in the same region. All of which does not detract from what is a difficult item to find.

A very rare and excellent quality Ancient Chinese glazed storage jar. This item which still retains much of its original glaze dates to the period circa 10th - 13th Century AD. It has much decoration present in the form of Figures of Gods and animals around the outer rim of the jar. It is free from restoration and repair and has much presence and style. Some ground deposits from the excavation are still adhered to the outer surface as would be expected.

A rare Ancient Chinese attendant figure.
This item dates from the Ming Period (circa 14th Century - to the mid 17th Century AD). The figure takes the form of a male attendant wearing a small hat. There is much original colour pigment still present to this piece which has a socketed head. This feature makes it very interesting, as it enables this item to strike slightly different poses. A small amount of museum quality restoration is present to one corner of the base and some decay to the fingers on the hands, as would be expected.

A good quality Ancient Chinese attendant figure.
This item which dates to the Ming Dynasty period (circa mid 14th Century - to mid 17th Century AD) is of a rare type. The figure is that of a male attendant with a high hat. The head is of the socketed variety which can be moved to show a different look. Good original colour pigment is still present which makes this item rare and interesting. A small amount of decay is present to the fingers of the hands, the rim of the hat and backs of the ankles, as would be expected. This however does not detract from what is a very stable and rare artefact.
