Ancient Egyptian Wooden Mummy Mask Ref: 1-SN5556

A rare and seldom seen Ancient Egyptian wooden mummy mask. This item which dates to circa 300 BC - 200 AD shows the central facial area, which would have originally decorated the lid of the wooden casket housed in the sarcophagus. The facial detail are good and the whole item has been professionally conserved. The tip of the beard is missing as can be seen , and to the rear there has been some decay . This is however very stable and will stand the test of time. It comes complete with its own display stand and glass dome. Old English collection from around 1970. Size: actual 13.5cm in length, inside dome 20.0cm in height.

A seldom seen Bronze figure of the Ancient Egyptian God Osiris. This figure dates to circa 500BC.
He is shown in typical pose and still retains the original suspension loop to the rear. This piece also retains some original blue pigment to the rear where it may have been attached to a decorative neck collar. Wonderful detail present.

It dates from the period circa 300 BC and still retains some blue enamel decoration. The facial features are a little weak and slightly warn as would be expected, but it shows now signs of repair or restoration.
