The Medieval Period
The point in time in English history known as the medieval period, stretchers from the 12th - 15th Century AD. This period offers the collector perhaps one of the most interesting yet complex areas of History to research.

We know that through this period these were very changing times, as noble Knights replaced warring kings. Chivalry and honour prevailed but the plague and poverty decimated much of the population. The monarchy emerged as all-powerful, and organised religion held sway over the English people.

This ever changing period provides us with a wealth of artefacts of many different types; these include religious artefacts, heraldic pendants from the noble knights war horses, trade items, weaponry, horse trappings and many personal items of jewellery including rings and decorations. (Much of which you will see in this section.)

It was also a literate age with hand written manuscript written by monks, and artefacts which bear inscriptions and engravings from a period in which leads us from Ancient History to a modern society.
