An antique brooch/pin with a central garnet, blue enamel decoration and split natural seed pearls, all mounted in 15ct gold. The reverse shows a '15ct' stamp and a removable photograph frame, which can be easily prised out with a fingernail. There a small dent to the gold on the side of the brooch, which can be seen clearly in the photographs.

No hallmarks, but tests as gold and engraving on the reverse reads 'S & J Sadler died Sept 19th 1850'. In original box.
