An antique mourning ring with a full hallmark dating 1835 and made in London. There is also the 'duty mark' depicting the monarch of the time, who in this case is William IV. This is a hair jewellery piece; there is a plaited lock of hair in the centre of the ring encased in glass. The back of the setting has the inscription 'Joh Warwicke Died March 14 1842 aged 60'. Decorated floral shoulders, black enamel and natural seed pearls.
