About Lea Stein Designs Lea Stein jewellery is made using the process of laminating celluloid; using many paper-thin celluloid acetate sheets creating a multi-layered effect, finishing the process off with a top layer of material such as lace or even straw. Once the layered sheets have been blended they are then baked to harden and various shapes could be hand carved. The master piece can take up to as long as 6 months to perfect and then when totally satisfied it is used as a template to produce the jewellery, transformed into the fantastic sculpture designs that today is so recognisable as Lea Stein. The Lea Stein brand began in the 1960's and continues today. Below we have a selection of Lea Stein brooches /pins for sale. We do have alot more in stock, so please contact the Centre if you are looking for a particular design or colour way. | |
