With five showrooms spread over three floors and over one hundred dealers from all over the country, The Antiques Centre York stocks a hugely diverse range of antiques and vintage, catering for all tastes and covering many periods from Ancient Rome to Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian, Art Deco through to contemporary.
The building is a listed Georgian Townhouse situated in the heart of historic York, just a thirty second walk from York Minster on Stonegate; one of the oldest Roman streets in the city. The centre is also home to 'Flossy' our resident ghost - she features highly on the local ghost tour!
We have Molly's Tearooms on the second floor, which is open seven days a week from 9:30am until 3:30pm and serves hot drinks, lunchtime snacks and homemade cakes.
The website has only a small sample of the vast amount of items we have for sale in the centre. We try and update the website daily, but if there's something specific you're looking for - drop us an email or a phone call and we'll do our best to find it for you. Chances are we'll have it in the centre somewhere! You can shop with confidence using our secure online shopping basket - whether an item is old or new there is always an emphasis on quality.

| | Ancient Egyptian Wooden Mummy Mask £695.00
A rare and seldom seen Ancient Egyptian wooden mummy mask. This item which dates to circa 300 BC - 200 AD shows the central facial area, which would have originally decorated the lid of the wooden casket housed in the sarcophagus. The facial detail are good and the whole item has been professionally conserved. The tip of the beard is missing as can be seen , and to the rear there has been some decay . This is however very stable and will stand the test of time. It comes complete with its own display stand and glass dome. Old English collection from around 1970. Size: actual 13.5cm in length, inside dome 20.0cm in height.

A rare set of four 17th Century AD pewter spoons. This group which all have makers marks to the bowl have the family initials around that mark, in this case H V D. They are all in excellent condition and are free from repair and restoration. Size 17.5 CM in length.
